You will be relieved to know that there are no swinging pendulums or “looking into my eyes”. Hypnotherapy is not like stage hypnosis. You are in complete control at all times!

This natural state can be achieved through relaxation and visualisation techniques. In all it is a rather relaxing and pleasant experience!

We all experience a form of the Hypnotic state in our everyday lives. We are in a similar state when we have driven a familiar route without thinking or when engrossed in our favourite TV show.

It is simply, relaxed and focused attention.

Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is extremely powerful if you are ready for change and are prepared to take the necessary steps.

In therapeutic terms this state allows us to access the subconscious mind and the conscious mind takes a back seat . The subconscious mind works to find ways to help you access the skills you need for the change you want. You become more open to new ideas and beliefs which remove unhelpful thought patterns.

I practice Solution Focused Hypnotherapy, which means we don’t have to discuss the past if you don’t want to. Our main focus is to get you moving towards your goals, how you want to be feeling and what you want to be doing.
